About the Position

We are looking for a technician with vehicle experience for a large international industrial company in Eskilstuna who wants to take a step beyond the workshop. The role suits a person who enjoys combining hands-on work with technical documentation and problem-solving. The assignment involves working closely with technical writers to develop and describe service and repair methods for heavy vehicles and construction machinery.

In your daily work, hands-on work with prototypes is mixed with reviewing and improving technical instructions. You contribute your vehicle technical understanding and ensure that the methods work in practice from a mechanic's perspective.

The client is a world-leading manufacturer of construction machinery with operations and service organizations globally. Start date is according to agreement. The assignment begins as a consultant through Cleverex Bemanning with the possibility of permanent employment in the long term.

Responsibilities

In this role, the technician is responsible for developing and quality-assuring methods and instructions for service and maintenance of heavy vehicles and machinery. The work involves collecting data, conducting method studies, verifying work steps, and assessing technical time requirements. The role involves many points of contact, both internally and externally. You will also:

Contribute technical solutions that improve serviceability and maintenance options
Maintain close dialogue with development, aftermarket, and other stakeholders
Ensure that methods comply with relevant legal requirements and standards

Your Profile

Experience from the mechanic profession, heavy vehicles, service technology, or production technology
Good ability to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings
Swedish and English in speech and writing

Meritorious:

Experience with CAD

The role requires a structured and methodical person who enjoys switching between practical work and office environment. The person has a clear interest in vehicles, is meticulous, pedagogical, and accustomed to thinking in logical steps. We see that you enjoy working with tools and want to influence how service processes are designed.
