KWD Nuclear Instruments AB (formerly Wedholm Medical) was founded in 2001 and is part of the KWD group AB. The company has its origins in Studsvik Instrument AB and the long traditions in the nuclear power sector from Studsvik.

KWD Nuclear Instruments AB is a major player in neutron monitoring for the nuclear power industry and also markets products for the medical sector and research institutes around the world. The company is located in Nyköping, Sweden.

Responsibilities include:

Travel to nuclear facilities within Scandinavia to perform service and repairs.

Manufacturing of SIRM, SPND, and Neutron Monitors and calibrations of measuring instruments.

Maintenance/repairs of the machinery.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485.

Requirements:

Driving license B

Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Approval within the security classification at nuclear facilities and the additional courses required to perform services in the client's area.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in nuclear work

Electrical knowledge (university level)

Troubleshooting and repair

Fine mechanics

Electrical knowledge in instruments

Soldering

ISO 9001 & ISO 13485

Knowledge of quality work

CAD skills
