Your tasks – contribute to a safe, sustainable, and well-functioning workplace

As a custodian with us, you will spend half of your time managing our premises and half on traditional custodian tasks. You will be part of our team for premises and property where you together develop, streamline, and improve our facilities. You work throughout the building, a modern and attractive workplace, and respond to the daily needs that arise to manage our premises, ensuring they function well and are maintained.

Your work includes, for example:

• Conducting daily rounds in and around the property
• Handling fault reports and performing minor repairs
• Inventory and ordering of office supplies
• Arranging and setting up premises
• Receiving deliveries
• Participating in systematic fire protection and security work
• Actively working to prevent workplace-related risks
• Working with recycling and sustainable resource management.

This is a role where you work both independently and together with others. Here, you make a difference for the entire agency.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma and several years of relevant experience that the Swedish Energy Agency deems relevant for the position, for example in a role as a custodian or carpenter. We also see that you have experience in systematic fire protection and security work as well as physical protection in premises. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of IT systems and programs. For this position, it is required that you have Swedish citizenship.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with electricity, heating, ventilation, locks, and/or alarms. Likewise, if you have a B driver's license.

About us

The position is located in the Customer and Internal Service unit, which focuses on property, premises, internal customer service, meetings and events, as well as administrative/management support. We are 14 colleagues covering a wide area, and all work with a focus on service. The unit is part of the department for business development and support.

Good to know

The position is a permanent employment with an initial six-month probationary period. This position is classified in a security class, which means security clearance and background checks according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Upon permanent employment, it may be relevant for military placement at the agency.
