This role involves working with our customers in central Sweden with various forms of automation facilities. This includes conveyor systems, sorting machines, and autonomous robots. The role includes access to a service vehicle and performing both planned maintenance and troubleshooting of a more urgent nature at customer sites. Travel with overnight stays is common and a natural part of the job.

Today, we have an established team of service technicians with high technical competence in Mälardalen. Now we are looking for someone who wants to strengthen and develop our team in the region. Your employment will be based in Mälardalen, but the work field is broad, and we are flexible in that you can often work directly from home depending on the assignment.

In this role, you are required to find solutions to complex problems and strive to identify the root cause to then contribute to a routine to prevent future issues.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance of automation and other technical equipment.
• Identify new deviations and follow up on old ones in a methodical and documented manner.
• Introduce users to preventive maintenance and good management of technical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
• Work on developing and implementing continuous improvements.
• Act as a contact for suppliers of automation and related mechanical or technical equipment, both nationally and internationally.

As a service technician, you have many points of contact, so we are looking for someone with good communication skills. You enjoy and succeed in switching between working independently and collaborating in a team.

Requirements for the Role:

• High school education in electrical, energy, technology, or equivalent competencies acquired in other ways.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B.
• Experience as a Service Technician, preferably within warehouse automation, but other forms of industry or equivalent experience are also meritorious.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and regulations.
