About Us

Hotel Riviera Strand is a conference hotel and a favorite among families, located right by the beach in the summer paradise of Båstad. Here, there is beach life and full activity both indoors and outdoors, from morning to evening. The hotel has 144 apartment suites, 11 conference rooms, and a restaurant that can accommodate over 300 guests.

Hotel Riviera Strand is part of the GRAM Group, which also includes Hotel Skansen, Torekov Hotel, and the restaurants Pepe’s Bodega, Papas, Mamas, and PAVO. Together, we form three distinctive hotels and several restaurants in an outstanding destination, Båstad & Bjäre Peninsula.

About the Position

As a head waiter at Hotel Riviera Strand, you play a key role in the daily operations. You are responsible for welcoming our guests, leading the serving staff, ensuring high service quality, and creating a warm and professional atmosphere in the restaurant.

The working hours are varied and include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

About You:

We believe you have previous experience as a head waiter or in a leadership role within the restaurant industry. You are a natural leader with good communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a genuine interest in service. We also see that you are flexible and willing to work both daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the team during service
• Ensure that the service maintains the highest standards
• Introduce and train new employees
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar for the best possible guest experience
• Manage table bookings and guest requests
• Actively work with sales and guest relations

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent employment at 90% that begins with a six-month probationary period. Working hours are varied. Start date and salary are negotiable. We follow the collective agreement between Visita and the Hotel and Restaurant Union.
