Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for drivers with a C license for the transportation of hazardous waste at Renova.

The assignment involves collecting hazardous waste and containers with construction waste from our customers within municipalities or companies. You will drive alone in the vehicle, and the job may also include storage transports and some heavy lifting. Daily supervision of the vehicle and equipment is included in the work. You will be involved in daily planning and have continuous communication with team leaders and traffic management to find optimal transport solutions together.

As an environmental worker at Renova, you will have a varied and independent job. You plan your driving together with the traffic manager, considering time, environment, and economy, as well as providing the best possible service for our customers. You will have continuous communication with team leaders and traffic management.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to sort chemical household products based on their hazard levels. Therefore, knowledge of everyday chemistry is an advantage.

You also need to:

• have a C driver's license, a digital tachograph card, ADR certification, and YKB
• have good computer skills and experience working in a logistics system
• preferably have experience in service professions
• be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• preferably have good local knowledge of Gothenburg and surrounding areas

As a person, you are environmentally conscious and possess good communication and collaboration skills. Since a large part of your role involves meeting customers in a service-oriented manner and maintaining good relationships between customers and Renova, we want you to have experience and interest in customer and service-oriented work. To succeed in the job, you are responsible, understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole. You also need to be flexible and solution-oriented in your approach and easily adapt to changing conditions and new information. You are efficient and motivated, take initiative, and drive the work forward.
