About the Affective Clinic Södermalm

The Affective Clinic Södermalm is a specialist psychiatric outpatient clinic within Psychiatry Southern Stockholm, treating patients with depression, bipolar disorder, and/or mania. Our clinic is centrally located in Södermalm, next to Zinkensdamms sports field, in purpose-adapted premises.

We are looking for

A structured and secure nurse with a particular focus on medication follow-up. You need to be able to work independently and have experience in psychiatric care. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of nurse with us, you will:

• Independently follow up on medication treatments for patients within psychiatric care, with particular responsibility for treatments with lithium and central stimulants.
• Conduct health and follow-up conversations to evaluate patients' well-being, identify care needs, and detect any side effects of ongoing treatments.
• Be responsible for planning, dose adjustment, and evaluation of medication treatments, both through physical clinic visits and phone contacts.
• Collaborate with other care providers to ensure coordinated and person-centered care.
• Work evidence-based in accordance with Stockholm County's healthcare area's process maps.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse who:

• Has further education in psychiatric care and experience working in psychiatric outpatient care.
• Is structured and used to working systematically, with the ability to manage and plan care processes effectively.
• Is independent, responsible, and wants to contribute to the development of the organization.
• Has experience in following up on medication treatments.

• requires, in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
