Procurement Officer at the Legal Unit

Are you a skilled procurement officer with experience in the public sector who wants to contribute your expertise during a time of change and development? The Legal Unit is now seeking a procurement officer responsible for the agency's procurements and purchases.

The Swedish National Financial Management Authority is facing change with the merger with the Swedish Agency for Public Management on January 1, 2026. The agency is growing, which means an increased need for support in areas such as procurement. In connection with the merger, the agency will change its name to the Swedish Agency for Public Management.

The Legal Unit consists of lawyers, procurement officers, registrars, and archivists, totaling 8 people. We work closely together and across boundaries. The unit is led by the unit manager, who is the agency's chief legal officer.

Your Responsibilities

As a procurement officer, you will be the sole person in your role at the agency but will work closely with the lawyers. You will independently drive and conduct public procurements and renewed competitive tendering according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU). You will participate in the unit's development work regarding methods, templates, and routines, and you will be responsible for contract follow-ups and purchasing analyses.

Background

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in a relevant field, e.g., vocational training in strategic purchasing or procurement, or relevant work experience deemed equivalent by the employer. It is advantageous if you have an academic education focusing on public procurement, such as in law or economics.

You have at least three years of current experience in public procurement (call-offs, bids, and procurements according to LOU). It is advantageous if you have conducted call-offs from the framework agreements of the Kammarkollegiet and if you have experience leading and driving procurements.

Experience working in Kommers, experience with e-commerce (e.g., Visma Proceedo, Unit4), and experience conducting spend analyses are also advantageous.

You need to have good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU), good skills in MS Office, including Excel and Word, and a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.
