Your Role

Are you a driven engineer with a passion for electronics and an interest in developing technically advanced defense systems? At Saab in Karlstad, we are now looking for electronics engineers to join our growing development organization.

As an electronics engineer with us, you will work on exciting projects throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design and development to testing and production. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as analog and digital electronics, FPGA programming, EMC, and much more. Our electronic systems are designed to operate under extreme conditions, and you will be part of ensuring they meet the highest standards of robustness and reliability.

For those looking to take a step further in their career, there is the opportunity to take on the role of team lead, where you will lead a smaller development team, drive technical decisions, and help develop the team's working methods and skills.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in electronics, electronic design, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in electronics development
• Experience in developing circuit boards with both analog and digital design
• Knowledge of concepts such as VHDL, FPGA, and/or ASIC

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
