As a piping and layout designer, you will work in multidisciplinary project teams focusing on large industrial projects, primarily within the pulp and paper industry. You will be responsible for designing and constructing piping systems, ensuring technical standards, and selecting components and materials based on the chosen process engineering solution. The role involves close collaboration internally and with clients, where your technical expertise, curiosity, and willingness to learn will be of utmost importance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job tasks

Develop and update piping and facility layouts in a 3D environment
Dimension and construct piping systems based on process and functional requirements
Perform piping routing, support structures, and assemblies in CAD systems
Prepare specifications for equipment and contracts
Participate in project meetings and have technical discussions with other disciplines (electrical, instrumentation, construction, process)

Have completed a post-secondary education in a relevant field
Have fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Hold a B driver's license

It is advantageous for the role if you have previous experience in similar tasks and have worked within the pulp and paper industry. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with AutoCAD and Aveva E3D.

Working hours: Office hours, 08.00-17.00
Location: The work is conducted on-site in Karlstad and surrounding areas, travel in service may occur. If you are applying from another location, we would appreciate it if you describe in your application how you plan to commute to the workplace
