About the operation

The Resource Reception for Addiction is part of the Psychiatry Addiction Outpatient Care (PBÖ) together with the Addiction Reception Hisingen and the Addiction Reception Olskroken.

The work takes place in a matrix organization where our mission, in accordance with methods such as F-ACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment), allows us to intensify efforts for patients at the base receptions for a specific mission during a certain period. The reception also has a number of fixed patients with an associated medical resource and organizes the efforts of psychologists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation coordinators in the base operations. We also have an extensive range of different types of group treatments.

The target group is individuals over 18 years old with severe mental illness and complex needs due to psychiatric issues and/or substance use who already belong to the Addiction Base Receptions. The reception has a clear operational idea and vision where we want to improve and develop care for patients within the target group. Part of this work includes implementing new knowledge and evaluating our operations.

Job responsibilities

Addiction medicine/psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation work in outpatient care based on F-ACT as a method in our matrix organization.

You will work both independently and in collaboration with the other staff at the reception as well as in the teams formed around the patient. You will not be a fixed care contact for patients but will work on assignments and in resource groups around patients that last for shorter or longer periods. You will also lead one or more group treatments together with colleagues.

About you

You are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have specialist training in psychiatry. We want you to have an interest in working integratively and flexibly with patients who have a substance dependence and a psychiatric comorbidity. Since the operation is still relatively new and works in a way that is more unusual, it is beneficial if you see challenges and change work as something positive. We hope you bring the willingness to help develop the operation as well as the ability to work towards common goals to help shape the future care for this group of patients with greater care needs.

As the work requires good teamwork for the benefit of the patient, a good ability to communicate and collaborate is important. A high degree of flexibility as well as a fundamental ability for low-affect response is essential, and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Base Year, which is our introductory program. The Clinical Base Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training in your profession at the Simulator Center. In addition, it also includes service in at least two different departments to broaden your competence.
