If you drive, you can park in our staff parking area, which is close to the site.

We are looking for you who already know that you want to make a difference in the summer of 2026. With us, you will be part of something bigger - our shared mission for a safer society. Apply to us for a valuable summer job that you will carry with you for the rest of your life!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a correctional officer, you will be part of a team where you have daily contact with clients. The tasks at the prison are varied and include care, supervision, searches, and security work, combined with release planning, conversations, and motivational work. Work at the remand center is often routine-driven and focused on care and security tasks. Clients may sometimes be detained for long periods without seeing anyone other than the staff at the remand center, which places special demands on your ability to create structure, security, and respectful interactions in everyday life.

Working as a correctional officer means you can make a difference for other people and contribute to a better society. To thrive and succeed in your role, it is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane view of humanity, respect for the individual, and the belief that people can develop. You will be part of a safe and committed work community where cooperation, responsibility, and respect are central values.

You will begin your employment with an introduction in week 23, and you are expected to be able to work throughout the entire summer period.
