Are you curious and driven to find faults and deficiencies through technical testing methods? As a testing engineer, you will inspect objects and pressurized devices at customer sites using methods such as X-ray and ultrasound. By inspecting what we cannot see with the naked eye, you can contribute to a safer society!

About the role:

In the role of testing engineer, you will either be out at customer sites performing the job or take a sample to analyze the material in one of Kiwa's laboratories. You will work with recurring inspections or preventive maintenance to measure the status and health of objects and their critical components and equipment. Your work will include performing visual inspections, ultrasonic testing, X-ray testing, and leakage testing. By using these different testing methods, we can test and inspect objects for things we cannot see with the naked eye, helping the customer to locate damages early to prevent potential costly failures. During a workweek, you will come into contact with several different objects such as pressure vessels, tanks, pipelines, and turbines.

The role is based in Örebro, where daily travel and overnight trips may occur.

Do you have what it takes?

Are you a technically interested problem solver who is also communicative and responsible? Do you find it exciting to use advanced methods to find hidden faults and deficiencies? Then this is the right role for you!

You have:

  • Technical high school education or equivalent engineering degree
  • An interest in technology and people
  • A valid driver's license (B)
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is highly meritorious if you have previously worked as a testing engineer and have documented experience with various testing methods.

Kiwa is today one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting, thanks to our employees who, through their commitment and knowledge, contribute to safety and sustainability for our customers and society. • Secure and stable employment - Kiwa has a collective agreement
  • Generous wellness allowance
  • Compensation for medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis
