Description

The Dependency Reception Olskroken is part of PBÖ - Psychiatry Dependency Outpatient Care and is organized in a matrix organization together with the Dependency Reception Hisingen and Resource Reception for dependency.

We address individuals over 18 years of age with severe substance dependence, with or without psychiatric comorbidity. The reception offers coordinating efforts based on the patient's needs and a cross-professional perspective where the child perspective is also an important part of the work.

We offer, among other things, pharmacological treatment, psychosocial and psychological treatment, investigations, as well as occupational therapy and rehabilitation coordinating efforts. A large part of the psychological and psychosocial treatment efforts are provided in groups based on a treatment process with stepwise care. Collaboration with other actors plays a central role. At the reception, doctors, nurses, caregivers, social workers, and administrators work, and through close collaboration with the Resource Reception for dependency, we also have access to psychologists, occupational therapists, and a rehabilitation coordinator as well as F-ACT efforts.

Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a cohesive care chain for the patient. You perform pharmacological treatment, initiations and follow-ups of medication, as well as sampling both individually and in the reception's medication reception. Conduct MI and ÅP conversations for support in sobriety as well as network work with the patient's relatives and professional network. We also actively work with inpatient care in the admission and discharge processes to create a smooth transition so that there is a shared understanding of the patient's needs and participation. You meet patients individually, but it can also happen in groups. You will also be the primary contact for patients, which means being the patient's primary contact at the reception.

We work based on an MI-based working method, regardless of profession, and training in this is ongoing, in addition to supervision together with your colleagues. The work is varied and developing!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. If you have experience in dependency care and/or psychiatry, it is meritorious, as well as if you have worked with harm reduction efforts previously.

You have an interest in working integrated and flexibly with patients who have substance dependence and psychiatric comorbidity. The work requires that you have personal maturity and a flexible approach and enjoy being part of developing the operation. You need to be able to work independently as well as together with others towards common goals as we constantly want to change and improve.

As the work requires good teamwork for the patient's best, it is important to be able to communicate and collaborate with other employees, both internally and externally. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introductory program. The clinical foundation year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. The clinical foundation year includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training of your profession at the Simulator Center. In addition, it also includes service in at least two different departments to broaden your competence.

In the event of recruitment of nurses with foreign qualifications/specialist certificates, the current position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish qualifications/specialist certificates.
