Nursing Responsible Nurse (OVA) for Highly Specialized Pediatric Emergency Care

About the position

As a Nursing Responsible Nurse, you play a key role in strategically monitoring and developing nursing care regarding care, research, and education. You will be part of the management group of the operation. You report to the head of the operation and collaborate with nursing managers, care developers, doctors, and other professionals to ensure that care maintains the highest quality – both from a child and family perspective and a patient safety perspective.

As OVA with us, you will be part of Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital network for the OVA group and in the nursing steering group.

You will, among other things:

• be responsible for leading and developing the nursing-related work within the pediatric emergency care and pediatric medicine nursing area
• contribute to the implementation of evidence-based guidelines
• represent nursing research in FoUU forums at the operational level and ensure that the nursing perspective is integrated into all research and development work. This by identifying, implementing, and following up on development and research initiatives related to patient groups
• support academic development for nursing staff
• participate in clinical work as needed, focusing on preserving and developing clinical competence
• follow up and analyze care quality, deviations, and areas for improvement
• act as a professional support in the work with competence ladders.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with specialist training in a relevant area
• At least 5 years as a specialist nurse
• Master's degree

Meritorious:

• Knowledge and experience of implementation work
• Teaching and/or mentoring qualifications
• Clinical experience in pediatric care
• PhD.
