About the workplace

The Short-term Unit is located at Rosenhäll and offers care and rehabilitation services for a limited time.

The unit has a well-functioning team collaboration where nursing assistants work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and care managers.

Most of the users come directly from a hospital stay, and the purpose is to strengthen their ability to manage their daily lives to return to their regular residence. There are also individuals in a palliative stage and those waiting for a place in special housing.

We are looking for engaged nursing assistants who want to work with us to ensure that the stay at the Short-term Unit is safe and meaningful. You will be part of our team and have the opportunity to make a difference for our users!

Job responsibilities

As a nursing assistant at the Short-term Unit, you will have a varied job with both care tasks and delegated health and medical care tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff.

There are often advanced tasks performed on delegation, such as tracheostomy and wound care, and you must be prepared to perform these after training. Documentation is an important part of the work.

You will also be involved in driving change – we are constantly looking for new, smart ways to work, with the goal of offering modern and meaningful elderly care. Through special representative roles, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and contribute to ensuring that the quality for our users is as broad and strong as possible.

In the role of nursing assistant, you will work days, evenings, and every other weekend. There may also be opportunities for work in the evenings and nights.

• Is flexible and resilient as the Short-term operations change continuously.

• Has a professional approach characterized by good communication and respect for those we serve.
• Has a genuine interest in working with the elderly and does so from a rehabilitative perspective and with quality awareness.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• A trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience or further education in palliative care
• Experience of previous work in Short-term housing
• Knowledge of documentation and digital tools in elderly care.

We use language assessment in our recruitment process.

Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement, and interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment period.
