The Workplace

The elderly care in Karlsborg Municipality is primarily located at Haganäset Elderly Home, where all activities are centralized in one location. From Haganäset, the municipality's home healthcare also operates. Most of our services are staffed at night, often with only one on-duty care staff member. We are now introducing flexible positions to strengthen staffing during the night in our services.

Job Responsibilities

This position is a flexible role, meaning you will work temporarily based on the service that currently has the greatest staffing need. The work also involves, based on the initial placement, patrolling and assisting with tasks in other services during the night shift. Night home care may also become relevant if needs arise there.

You will work based on a person-centered care approach and with a rehabilitative mindset. Your mission is to support daily activities regarding care, service, and support based on the user's needs. You should be able to instill security, provide good care, and perform health care tasks after delegation.

Your work includes receiving written and verbal information and documenting in the operational system Viva.

Qualifications

You have formal qualifications as a care assistant. Experience from previous work in care and support is an advantage. A B driver's license is required. You are goal-oriented and can work towards jointly established goals, have an easy time collaborating, and are attentive. You have a good ability to work independently and can take your own initiatives. After training, you should be able to work in our operational system and other IT systems used by the organization.
