BUP Gamlestaden assesses, treats, and investigates children and adolescents up to 18 years of age with moderate to severe psychiatric issues. We provide specialist-level care characterized by high competence and interdisciplinary work. As a PTP psychologist, you will receive good support from the team. Through study visits and collaboration with other BUP clinics within the department, such as the OCD clinic, DBT team, and emergency unit, you will gain broad experience of different working methods. The clinic is located at Gamlestads Torg, which has good transport links. We are a well-functioning workplace with clarity and commitment. We at the clinic strive to provide high-quality care while also believing it is important to have fun at work. The psychologist group receives supervision regarding both treatment and assessment as well as peer supervision at the clinic. The psychologist group has regular professional meetings at the clinic and there is a cross-clinic psychologist collaboration.

The team consists of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, secretaries, section leaders, and unit managers. We have about 35 employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a PTP psychologist, you will be offered a developing and varied job with us. The tasks mainly consist of new patient visits, assessments, treatments, and investigations of children and adolescents. We also work family-oriented.

Group therapy, collaboration with other actors, and on-call duty during the day are included in the work.

About you

We are looking for someone who has completed a psychology degree, with eligibility to apply for PTP and work within Swedish healthcare. Experience working with children and young people is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
