The Health and Medical Care area in Uddevalla municipality is responsible for rehabilitation for individuals enrolled in municipal primary care both in ordinary housing, in care and nursing homes, short-term units, and within basic habilitation. We have occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive technology specialists working with us. We offer you stimulating and meaningful tasks in a positive work environment. The unit is located at Rosenhäll in Uddevalla, with good train and bus connections. There are also free parking opportunities.
We continuously develop our working methods and in Uddevalla municipality, we are at the forefront regarding welfare technology. This is to create a good everyday life for the patients who need our support and help. We are open to new ideas on how we can reach out to our patients with preventive and health-promoting work. We also actively collaborate with other professionals to spread knowledge about a rehabilitative approach.
Job responsibilities
Your job responsibilities include, among other things:
- Working as an occupational therapist within your area of responsibility.
- Working independently and in a team with assessments and rehabilitative interventions.
- Testing and prescribing assistive devices.
- Enabling activity and participation for patients and relatives.
- Instructing, delegating, guiding, and educating nursing staff.
- Working closely with nursing staff, unit managers, case managers, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, and physiotherapist and occupational therapist colleagues.
- Contributing to the development of the work with Close Care.
- Following up, evaluating, and documenting.
Together with your colleagues, you contribute your competence and good attitude to provide our patients with the best possible rehabilitation/habilitation.

Qualifications
- Licensed occupational therapist with an interest in the area of operations
- Driving license B is a requirement.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written is required.
Previous experience in the profession is an advantage, but even those who are new to the profession are welcome to apply. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Conditions
For positions where a license/valid proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of a protected professional title is required, this must be submitted before employment.
