We are looking for an experienced Embedded Programmer with expertise in VHDL and FPGA for a consulting assignment with our partner's client in Gothenburg.
In this role, you will work closely with hardware, developing both firmware (VHDL) and software (C, C++) for FPGAs, including control logic, calibration functions, and high-speed links.
You will be part of an agile team and have the opportunity to work hands-on in a lab environment with testing, integration, and troubleshooting of advanced systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Development of control logic in both firmware (VHDL) and software (C, C++)
- Implementation of calibration functions
- Work with high-speed links
- Testing and integration of hardware in the lab
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing and new features
Requirements:
- 3–7 or 8+ years of programming experience with a focus on VHDL and FPGA
- Understanding of FPGAs and their functions
- Experience with VHDL
- Knowledge of C and C++
- Experience with Python and Matlab is a plus
- Familiarity with working in agile teams
- Swedish citizen (no dual citizenship)
