The VA department is divided into two units: Collaboration and Utility Networks, and Operations and Maintenance. We are a total of 37 people, of which 25 employees are in the operations and maintenance unit that manages and operates VA's facilities. In total, we manage about 120 facilities spread across the municipality. Together we work for well-being, joy, and development in the workplace. A good work climate where we collaborate and cooperate to continue developing the operations. We are now looking for another team player who enjoys working together with us towards our goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operations technician in wastewater, you will have a varied and independent job where you:

• Manage the operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, stormwater systems, and gas facilities
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize processes for the best treatment results
• Contribute technical expertise in development and improvement work
• Document, follow up, and ensure that the systems operate safely and efficiently

You will be an important part of a team that values collaboration, responsibility, and humor but also gives you space to take your own initiatives.

On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a genuine interest in technology, preferably within water and wastewater, and enjoy combining practical work with system thinking and problem-solving.

Meritorious:

• Experience in VA operations
• Process technology knowledge
• Mechanical skills
• Computer proficiency

Requirements:

• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
