Home Care Area 6 in Mariestad is part of elderly care and includes the rural areas of Hasslerör, Torsö, Sjötorp, and Lyrestad. Here, 25 employees work to provide the best possible support to our residents!

We are now looking for three care assistants for permanent positions with immediate start as agreed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities consist of personal care such as dressing and undressing, and support in toilet and shower situations. You will also be responsible for delegated medical tasks such as medication distribution, blood sampling, and wound dressings. Other tasks include service efforts, daily chores, and social interaction. The work also involves close collaboration with planners, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and unit managers. The work is largely independent, but double staffing may also occur.

We work with fixed care contacts and representative assignments where you as an employee have the opportunity to grow with responsibility and at the same time be part of the development of the organization. The position is a permanent full-time position with an immediate start as agreed.

The home care groups are based at Fredslund's care and nursing home in Hasslerör, just north of Mariestad. We work according to a 7-week schedule with shifts during the day and evening, and you will also work three out of seven weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover for absence at other workplaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for you who are a trained care assistant and preferably have work experience from home care.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, positive, and confident in individual meetings with clients and has a good ability to work independently with caring tasks. Your inspiring and positive attitude contributes to a good community and joy among both residents and your colleagues.

You should be flexible as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues, where you are expected to step in and support as needed throughout the entire rural area, and also in other areas through resource shifts.

We would like you to have experience in meeting people with mental health issues. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is because many of your tasks consist of receiving instructions and conveying information in a correct and clear manner. You should also have digital maturity in computer and mobile use as we use these as working tools.

A driver's license is a requirement for these positions.
