We are now looking for an engaged colleague to join Handens Healthcare Center!

Handens Healthcare Center is located adjacent to Haninge center, with restaurants, grocery stores, and good public transportation.

We also have a local clinic in Dalarö in a beautiful archipelago setting.

Handens Healthcare Center is growing rapidly and today we have nearly 21,200 registered patients.

In the Haninge results unit, in addition to Handens Healthcare Center, there is Dalarö Healthcare Center with archipelago assignments, Haninge Rehab, Haninge BVC with family center, a psychosocial team, and we also have integrated home healthcare with about 180 patients enrolled with a responsible district physician. In addition to medical consultations, we also have a psychosocial clinic, nurse-led diabetes, asthma/COPD, and hypertension clinics, osteoporosis clinic, and a minor emergency clinic with close collaboration with the urgent care center.

We have teams with district physicians and junior doctors working with the same patient list to increase continuity in patient care. Job Responsibilities

Include all tasks that a junior doctor performs at a healthcare center, meaning you will work with both acute and planned patient consultations. The work is varied and independent, allowing you to meet patients of all ages.

Employment Type

Fixed-term employment for six months, full-time, working hours Monday to Friday, start date according to agreement.

We are looking for you who are a junior doctor and have an interest in primary care.

We value teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, and a good sense of humor. We place great importance on personal suitability and professional conduct. The position will be filled provided that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

• background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
