About the role

As a group leader, your primary task is to coach and work in daily care together with the team. This means that you are a role model for your employees and, through your strong commitment, create a good working atmosphere in the group every day. You will work during the day, weekends, and evenings.

  • Close leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your workgroup and are involved in developing and quality-assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and acknowledging your employees in their daily work. You have several group leader colleagues, and you collaborate, brainstorm, and exchange experiences.
  • Participation: As a group leader, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.

About Solbacken

Solbacken is a special accommodation for people with dementia. We also have a unit for short-term and respite care, as well as a day activity program focused on dementia. There are a total of 64 accommodation places.

We focus on providing high-quality care and offer a varied range of activities, both individually and in groups. Solbacken is located at Stadshagsvägen 5 on Kungsholmen in a beautiful older building.

  • Activity Coordinator: We work systematically with activities and have an activity coordinator who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
  • Dementia Certification: We are a dementia-certified accommodation, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and interaction through the Dementia Academy. You will also undergo this training.
  • Needs-based preferred schedule: We apply a needs-based preferred schedule. This means that you and your employees have the opportunity to influence working hours based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.
  • Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Young Care. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Young Care engages in various activities together with us who work here to enhance the quality of life for the residents.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a trained nursing assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elderly care and leadership is an advantage for this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
