About us

We are a close-knit group of six people working with the repair and service of electric motors, ranging from small standard motors to advanced servo and robot motors.

Komponentservice is part of a stable and growing group, and a total of about 30 people work with us here in Skövde. We are located in modern, well-equipped premises in Norra Ryd, where technology, craftsmanship, and problem-solving meet every day. Here we help each other, share knowledge, and take pride in being able to do something that very few master today.

Your role

As a Winder/Electric Motor Repair Technician, you will:

• Work practically with the repair, service, and rewinding of electric motors
• Learn a unique craft where precision and a feel for the work are crucial.
• Test and check the performance of the motors
• Occasionally assist customers on-site

What does winding mean?

It is a precision task where you replace the old windings of the motors with new ones, a craft that few can do today, and which we will teach you from the ground up.

You will start by shadowing an experienced colleague who will show you the craft step by step. Gradually, you will grow into the role and become an important part of the team.

Who are you

We are looking for someone who wants to develop in electrical and mechanical fields and enjoys working practically, meticulously, and with technology that requires precision.

Perhaps you have:

• Worked as an electrical assembler, service technician, assembler, automotive technician, or industrial mechanic
• Completed an electrical, industrial, or automotive technical high school program
• Or simply enjoy understanding how things work and are used to assembling, repairing, or building

The most important thing is that you are meticulous, patient, and curious to learn something new. If you already have experience in winding or electric motor repairs, that is certainly a big plus but not a requirement.
