Job Description

The night team consists of two nursing assistants and two nurses, and together you will care for 15 patients. In your role as a nursing assistant, you will perform standard tasks in an acute cardiac care unit during the night. Common tasks include monitoring vital signs, connecting patients to telemetry, blood sampling, and basic nursing care.

As a new employee, you will receive a clear training plan and introduction under supervision. You will receive individual and broad professional development that you create in consultation with your immediate supervisors.

Qualifications

You are a trained nursing assistant who has worked at least 1 year in a hospital ward. Previous experience with heart patients is an advantage. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required – both spoken and written.

You need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or be covered by transitional regulations for nursing assistants, to be employed with the title nursing assistant.
