Technical Project Manager at MKB Net

Everyone needs a good and pleasant place to live. As an employee at MKB, you will be part of developing the housing market in Malmö, a task that is both challenging and very rewarding. You will be part of realizing our vision 'Home for Everyone'. If you share our conviction, we promise you a fun job with the opportunity to make a difference and to grow.

Presentation

MKB Net is looking for a technical project manager for a permanent full-time position. The start date can be adjusted according to your current notice period.

MKB Net is part of MKB's business development unit and consists of a team of 11 people. The company owns and operates a state-of-the-art city network that delivers internet and TV to over 29,000 customers through several different service providers. MKB Net is responsible for both wired and wireless communication solutions throughout the MKB group. The department is characterized by short decision-making paths and a working method based on energy, commitment, openness, and good communication. We focus on building relationships, increasing engagement, and driving work towards common goals together.

Your Responsibilities

As a technical project manager with us, you will be responsible for leading technical projects with clarity, engagement, and a large portion of personality. The role offers good opportunities for development where technology, leadership, and communication come together. You will drive projects from start to finish and focus on results, coordinating and motivating cross-functional teams. Your role also involves being the communicative link between stakeholders, creating structure, driving improvements, and taking initiatives to develop the business. The tasks include, among other things, the installation of communication infrastructure in properties and city networks, procurement and implementation of products and services, customer-specific projects, as well as business development and efficiency improvements. This together with a competent team and a culture that encourages initiative, flexible working methods, and focus on personal development.

Your Background

We are looking for an engineer with documented experience in driving projects, taking responsibility, and simultaneously building strong working relationships. We seek someone who is both technically skilled and has good social abilities – a project manager who is motivated by collaboration, clear communication, helping colleagues develop, and constantly working on improvements. Relevant education and experience in project management is a requirement, and certification in the field is an advantage. If you also have experience in IT, telecommunications, and/or city networks, that is a plus. Furthermore, experience in setting requirements for suppliers, outsourcing partners, and public procurement is particularly valuable, as it helps you quickly adapt to the role. Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, as well as a good ability to use the Office suite. A B driver's license is also a requirement.
