Midwives Wanted for Maternity Ward in Northern Norway – Summer Positions

The maternity units in Northern Norway welcome thousands of women for childbirth and postpartum care each year. A wide range of examinations and treatments in women's health are offered, and several units have specialized teams in areas such as fetal diagnostics and fertility.

We are primarily looking for midwives who can work the entire summer or large parts of it, but shorter assignments may also be available.

The shifts correspond to a full-time position (100%). We are looking for someone who is flexible, can work all types of shifts, and adapt to the department's needs during the work period. Please note that some units have internal agreements for 12-hour shifts.

Dedicare organizes and covers travel and accommodation.




Qualifications

  • Norwegian license as a midwife
  • At least 2 years of experience as a midwife is an advantage
  • Updated CPR training
  • Experience with EDA, scalp electrodes, lactate measurement, and CTG interpretation
  • Flexible and dynamic personality
  • Fluent in a Nordic language, both spoken and written
