Sales Representative in IT Infrastructure for Stockholm / Mälardalen

We are looking for an engaged and driven Area Sales Manager for IT solutions to join our team in Stockholm / Mälardalen. If you are skilled in project sales and want to sell data center solutions, this is an opportunity for you to grow with us and contribute to our ongoing journey forward.

Responsibilities

In your role as Area Sales Manager, you will assist both private and public sectors in managing the rapidly growing amount of data by offering Rittal's IT infrastructure solutions. You will sell through resellers, alongside strategic IT partners, and directly to customers. You want to be seen as the reliable partner who is 'top-of-mind' when customer needs arise.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will book meetings, visit customers, and facilitate the entire project sales process. Furthermore, you will conduct needs analyses, present solutions, negotiate, follow up, and close deals. You will involve relevant specialists in the sales process and have the support of a dedicated project team to create the right solutions and offers for the customer.

  • Sales to customers to find and implement the best possible solutions that meet their needs
  • Identify new market opportunities
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events
  • Build and maintain deep product knowledge to provide optimal advice to customers

In the role of Area Sales Manager, you will report to the Sales Manager for IT solutions in Sweden. The geographical sales district is primarily Östergötland and Mälardalen as well as northwards, where the majority of customers are currently located in Stockholm. You will work from home or Rittal's sales office (if one is near your residence), and the role involves about 1–2 overnight stays per week.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, we believe you have solid experience in similar project sales processes. You know how to drive sales processes from A to Z together with partners. Furthermore, you are aware of the entire value chain in the sales process and can actively engage all relevant parties around the project. You have business acumen, understand that it is about optimizing partners' and customers' businesses, and can discuss the customer's goals, strategies, problems, and opportunities. You are used to speaking with IT and business managers and want to work proactively to build trust and ensure high customer satisfaction.

  • At least 5 years of sales experience from a similar role within IT infrastructure/data center solutions
  • Experience in proactive sales within project and solution sales
  • You are accustomed to working independently
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite and CRM systems
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Driving license B
