What does the job of a preschool teacher at Norlandia Preschools entail?

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. We would like you to be easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to children's needs. 

Qualifications:

• Qualified preschool teacher with preschool teacher certification
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• You are well acquainted with the curriculum's goals regarding teaching and learning.
• You have experience working and leading systematic quality work at the group level.
• You have good knowledge of Office365. Previous experience in preschool operations is highly meritorious.

About Adventure Boat Preschool

Norlandia Preschools Adventure Boat opened in January 2017, located in Västra Hamnen and next to Turning Torso. There are good commuting options as we are close to bus and bike paths in Malmö, making it easy to commute by bike. In our bright and safe premises, with our own outdoor area and proximity to green spaces, we create a preschool environment where every child can explore, develop, and feel at home. With us, high pedagogical quality is combined with joy, community, and curiosity – every day.

Other information 

• Employment type: Temporary position during parental leave with the possibility of extension
• Scope:  80-100%
• Working hours:  Daytime, meeting time in the evenings may occur.
• Start date:  January 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.  

Upon employment, a criminal record extract is required.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required under the Aliens Ordinance.
