Bostads AB Poseidon is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Förvaltnings AB Framtiden, which in turn is owned by Göteborgs Stadshus AB, fully owned by the City of Gothenburg.

As the city's largest housing company, we own and manage approximately 28,700 homes in Gothenburg. We work decentralised in seven districts.

Do you have experience as a property technician, property caretaker, craftsman, or other equivalent roles and are attracted to work independently at the city's largest housing company where you have a lot of freedom under responsibility?

We are now looking for a practical and service-oriented property manager who wants to join us on our journey towards continued excellent management in our Backa district.

Job Responsibilities

We focus on the development of our buildings and the tenants' living environment while showing zero tolerance for insecurity and littering. Your job will be to listen to the tenants and ensure that they are comfortable with their homes and with us at Poseidon. The role is broad; no two days are alike – what permeates the job is sustainable management of the buildings with teamwork and tenant satisfaction in focus.

In parallel with ensuring tenant satisfaction, you will be responsible for the maintenance of properties and apartments. To succeed in this role, you need to be attentive, handy, and ensure that the job gets done. The job includes introducing tenants to their homes, handling maintenance requests, performing repairs and rounds, assessing repairs carried out by contractors, and mentoring interns from various vocational training programs. You will also participate in maintenance planning, handle property damage, and conduct various inspections. The goal is for our apartments to be managed in a long-term and cost-effective manner, in close dialogue with the tenants.

About You

Friendly, handy, proactive, and attentive with a community interest

The property manager is our face to the outside world, so you must enjoy working with people. You have social engagement, are clear and pleasant, and understand the importance of providing feedback to tenants and suppliers. In addition to high school qualifications, we want you to have documented education in property management and/or experience from the property or construction industry.
