Akkodis is looking for a Senior Power Engineer!

We are seeking a highly experienced HVDC Control & Protection consultant for an ongoing assignment with one of our industrial clients. You will join at a phase where several projects are in critical delivery, utilizing advanced HVDC technology and complex control and protection systems that require a high technical level and immediate impact in the team.

Why the role is important

The client's current team is strong and motivated but largely consists of junior engineers. To meet time pressures, technical challenges, and high quality demands, a senior expert is needed to take the lead, relieve the organization, and ensure delivery precision.

Your responsibilities

• Lead technical troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving within control and protection systems.
• Ensure delivery of critical project milestones on time.
• Coaching and knowledge transfer to junior engineers.
• Work according to international standards and best practices for C&P solutions.

We are looking for someone who has

• Deep and documented experience with HVDC systems and Control & Protection (design, testing, FAT/SAT, commissioning).
• Ability to work independently in complex and time-critical project environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Swedish and English – required.
• Ability to work on-site (remote max 1 day/week).
