The Midwifery Clinic in Orust is part of the Northern Bohuslän area, with midwifery clinics in Strömstad, Munkedal, Tanumshede, Sotenäs, and Lysekil.

The clinics have a common manager and work closely together. The entire area is HBTQ certified, and we operate according to ISO management and quality system 9001:2015.

About the Job

As a midwife, you will work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample screenings, vaccinations, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and providing parental information in various ways. You will work with telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and supervising students. Your role also involves collaboration with external agencies such as family centers, child health centers, and open preschools.

About You

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Previous experience working in a midwifery clinic is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are flexible, structured, loyal, and have good collaboration skills as well as a strong empathetic ability. You also have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The position is divided 50% at the Orust midwifery clinic and 50% at the midwifery clinic in Uddevalla. The working percentage may change periodically based on the needs of the organization.
