As a waste collection driver at SSAM, you are a key person in their efforts for a sustainable and cleaner environment. You contribute every day to ensuring that our municipality functions smoothly and that we together achieve our environmental goals.

In your role, you will primarily:

• Collect and transport waste from both households and businesses within Växjö municipality, according to established routes and schedules.
• Ensure high quality and service by handling waste safely and efficiently, in accordance with applicable procedures and environmental requirements.
• Meet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, serving as an important ambassador for SSAM and contributing to a positive experience in interactions with residents.
• Report deviations and follow safety regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• As part of their team, your work is crucial to maintaining good service for the municipality's residents while also protecting the environment for future generations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:
• Is responsible, service-oriented, and flexible.
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working both independently and in a team.
• Has good physical fitness, as the job is physically demanding.

Requirements:
• Minimum C driver's license
• Digital tachograph card
• Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate)
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred:
• Experience in waste management or similar service professions
• CE driver's license
• Computer skills

The work is scheduled during daytime hours with some on-call availability for work on weekends and public holidays.
