Service Technician at Berlex

Do you want to work in a broad and developing role where you combine technology, customer contact, and sales? Berlex is now looking for a service technician who wants to be part of our growing aftermarket function – a key department that is constantly evolving and has a significant impact on our customer experience.

About the Role

As a service technician at Berlex, you will have a varied job where you work with an even distribution between:

Preventive and corrective service on Berlex's own developed products

Technical support and advice to our customers

Sales of spare parts

In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn about our entire business – from administration such as invoicing and order management to sales and practical technical work. The role is broad and gives you great insight into both products and processes.

Since Berlex offers both physical products and digital services, some support for our connected devices and cloud services is also included.

What is required to succeed in the role?

5–10+ years of work experience from similar industries, such as road & construction, traffic & vehicles, building technology, or mechanics

Experience in service and support towards customers

Technical knowledge and interest, with a good understanding of IT and digital services

Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

Good knowledge of electronics and mechanics

Knowledge of hydraulics

Good system familiarity and computer skills

Driving license B

Forklift or lift certification

Personal qualities

Is social, communicative, and enjoys customer contact

Is meticulous, detail-oriented, and takes responsibility

Has a humble attitude – with us, you learn a lot during onboarding, which lasts at least six months

Is comfortable handling ad hoc situations and thrives in an environment where not everything can be planned in advance

Is a team player who is happy to help where needed – we are a small team and work closely together

The role involves travel, both day trips and some international trips. The number of overnight stays may vary and therefore requires a flexible attitude.
