Are you a technically skilled handyman with an eye for detail and a passion for service? Folkuniversitetet Region Väst is now looking for a property caretaker for our Property & Service unit. With us, you will play a central role in creating pleasant, safe, and functional educational environments for both participants and staff. You will also be part of a regional team with several property caretakers and janitors who work together across our region. Job Responsibilities
As a property caretaker with us, you will be responsible for ensuring that our premises function in everyday life – from preventive maintenance and minor repairs to service efforts that create a safe and pleasant environment for participants and employees.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Daily supervision, operation, maintenance, and upkeep of our properties and premises
• Ensure safe and functional educational environments
• Handle reports of faults and service requests
• Collaboration with property owners, contractors, and suppliers
• Purchase of accessories and materials for property service
• Cooperation with other staff and planning of property maintenance
• Gather information for procurement
• Assist at events and training – prepare premises and equipment
• Technical support for teaching, events, and meetings
• Participation in improvement work for the development of the premises
• Manage keys and access systems
• Conduct fire checks and manage burglary and access systems

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in similar practical work within property maintenance or service and who has good technical understanding and handy skills.
You are comfortable with modern, digitized systems and have a service-oriented approach with good collaboration skills.
You can work independently, take responsibility, and easily prioritize tasks based on the needs of the organization. A B driver's license is required as travel within the region is necessary.

Employment Type
Full-time position. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
Location: Trollhättan, but you will work across our region, which includes Karlstad, Skövde, and Tibro.
Start date according to agreement.
