At Stena Recycling in Borlänge, you will be part of a team working towards a sustainable future. We are now looking for a Production Worker who enjoys responsibility, likes to work practically, and wants to develop within the recycling industry.
About the position
In the role of Production Worker at Stena Recycling in Borlänge, you will work with the reception and weighing of varied and sometimes complicated materials. You will be responsible for classifying, checking, and sorting materials, as well as unloading, loading, and moving them using a wheel loader, counterbalance forklift, or material handler. The work also includes ongoing maintenance, service, and cleaning of our machines according to applicable routines, as well as reporting any deviations to your immediate supervisor. You will participate in production and follow the processes in the operation. The role requires you to act according to the company's policies and safety regulations, participate in Safety Walks, and report incidents and accidents. You actively contribute to a good working environment and a positive workplace climate. Working hours are weekdays between 07:00 and 16:00.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is curious and wants to learn more about the recycling industry and how your work impacts the whole. Attention to detail is an important quality as we often handle complex materials. You enjoy collaborating and communicating with colleagues and are driven to work systematically with continuous improvements. You are willing to suggest how we can develop our working methods. Experience from the recycling industry, manufacturing, warehouse work, maintenance, contracting, or agriculture is advantageous, as is experience operating wheel loaders, counterbalance forklifts, or similar machines.
We would like you to have certifications such as Hot Work, welding/cutting training, ADR, and wheel loader certification (C2). You should have good computer skills in business systems and the Office suite, as well as be able to communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Please include your relevant certifications in your application.

You will be offered an exciting and developing position at an interesting company in Borlänge. The position starts as a staffing assignment where you will be employed by HR Dalarna and rented to Stena Recycling for the first 6 months. If everything goes well, there are good opportunities for a permanent position at Stena Recycling after the rental period.
