This is a job for you who want to contribute to development and lead in a changing and socially important mission. The Swedish Social Insurance Agency is responsible for administering the state dental care support and ensuring that the regulations are followed. Dental care control exists in several locations in Sweden, and we are in an exciting development phase. We will have 7 units with approximately 120 control investigators by the year 2026. We are now looking for an experienced and goal-oriented unit manager for our control unit in Malmö. You will join a management team that drives and develops the operations together.
Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace
As a unit manager, you are the leader who is closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.
Your unit consists of approximately 20 employees who work with the control of the state dental care support and are located in Malmö. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goal images the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you are a support for the area manager, and you are part of the area's management team, which consists of unit managers, controllers, HR, and administrative assistants, where you contribute with your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you who will work with us have a high security awareness.

- have experience working as a manager in a similar investigative operation
- have experience in production management of case handling
- have experience leading in change
- have experience planning your operations in collaboration with colleagues at a distance.

Other
1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
