As a chef at Brogården, which is a standalone kitchen, you will be responsible for planning and preparing the preschool's meals. The work also includes self-control, dishwashing, cleaning, and administrative tasks such as ordering, invoice management, and dietary data management. You have a sustainable approach and use the organization's resources wisely and effectively. Through various working groups and forums, you will also have the opportunity to influence and develop your work.

The job we offer is a fixed-term employment at 75% employment rate, 50% at Brogården and 25% at Vittsjö school, working hours of 40 hours, from January 7 to May 31 with shadowing during week 51 in intermittent employment.

Who are you

We are looking for someone who has a culinary education or another education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent work experience. You need to have experience with special diets. Good computer skills, as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, such as Teams, are required. You need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and be capable of physically active work with heavier lifting. For transportation between work locations, you also need a B driver's license and access to your own car.

It is advantageous if you have worked with Matilda or another dietary data system and in Unit4 or equivalent e-commerce systems. We also see it as advantageous if you have worked for a few years as a chef.

The Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's residents, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and coordinated within several important service areas including property, street and park, meals, and cleaning. Within the meal department, about 200 employees work to prepare and serve meals.
