At Aleris Basal Home Healthcare, we work on behalf of health centers and medical clinics when they are closed – that is, evenings, nights, and weekends. Our teams are based in five geographical locations in Stockholm County.

Aleris Basal Home Healthcare is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care departments, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care. Together, we work to create safe, accessible, and high-quality care – always with the patient in focus.

About the role

As a patient safety nurse, you play a key role in our work with quality and patient safety. You work closely with the management and colleagues to ensure that our processes, routines, and training meet high standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Your main responsibilities:

Central role in the Basal Home Healthcare organization and working broadly with referral management and ensuring correct medical assessments

Responsible for assessing and validating referrals and, if necessary, having direct contact with the medical clinic

Daily collaboration with all clinical nurses in the operations

Follow-up of clinical nurses through mentorship

Varied workplace based on presence in the operations, but the main workplace is the service office in Alvik.

Participation in ensuring the patient safety process, including deviation management

Participation in being responsible for delegations, new and re-delegations

Identify and drive training needs based on the organization's goals

Work with quality assurance and development of routines and documents in Centuri

Responsible for training and competence development in the area

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse/registered district nurse with a genuine commitment to quality and patient safety. You have the ability to work both independently and in a team, and enjoy a role where you can combine clinical competence with improvement work.

We would like you to have:

At least two years of experience as a nurse/district nurse

Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare journal system

Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

Experience in quality and patient safety work

Experience in handling larger volume deviations and training others

Meritorious if you are a trained district nurse

Employment type: Permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period
