Your Role

As a press brake operator/sheet metal worker in our sheet metal workshop, you will be an important part of our team of about 25 employees working with sheet metal processing. In your role, you will work with a sheet stretching machine to shape sheet metal articles for both military and civilian aircraft. The work involves processing metals such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel by stretching the material over forming tools to ensure the correct shape before assembly. In addition to shaping, tasks such as deburring, drilling, and polishing are also included.

The work is mainly conducted during the day, but shifts may occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and understands the importance of collaboration for the whole to function, while also having the ability to work independently and take personal responsibility. You are meticulous, structured, and have a strong quality mindset, as you will eventually be responsible for approving your own work. Previous experience in a workshop or with machinery is an advantage.

Other requirements for the position:

• Completed high school education
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
