ABOUT THE POSITION
The government has decided to increase defense capabilities by re-establishing several regiments in Sweden, with Bergslagen Artillery Regiment, A 9 in Kristinehamn being one of them. The regiment will be responsible for training artillery battalions for southern Sweden.
We are currently in the process of building up our supply department and are looking for logistics personnel for our goods and service section. The position involves both practical and administrative tasks within storage and material supply.
About A 9
Currently, A 9 consists of approximately 170 employees. The logistics unit will consist of a supply department of about 40 people and a technical department of about 30 people. The supply department serves as the garrison's reference for, among other things, material, supplies, goods handling, and transportation.
Main Responsibilities
Working in the A 9 Supply Department involves a variety of tasks. One day you may work with practical tasks indoors or outdoors alongside your team members, and the next day you may work independently with reporting in one of our data systems. The work requires good computer skills, experience working in PC/Network, good physical ability, and a positive attitude towards training. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in a service role and are accustomed to working with inventory and storage structure.
We train strength and endurance for 3 hours a week during work hours. Heavy lifting is common, and some of the work takes place outdoors regardless of the weather and season.
Common tasks in the section include inventory, customer contact, and collaboration with other sections within the department.
Since we are in a build-up phase, you need to be prepared to handle all types of tasks that may arise. The tasks may change over time.
Examples of Tasks:
- Participate in training to handle existing material systems both practically and administratively.
- Handle and deliver materials and services to units in Kristinehamn Garrison.
- Provide service and customer contact during the delivery and receipt of materials.
- Report materials in the reporting systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP).
Health and physical training are a natural part of the work for all personnel in the Armed Forces.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent skills acquired through work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Good computer skills and experience working in PC/Network (Windows environment).
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
- Driver's license *B
- Good physical ability. Heavy lifting occurs, and work is often carried out in outdoor environments regardless of the weather.

Desirable Qualifications
- Authorization for support legs and counterbalance forklifts and wheel loaders.
- Experience with the Armed Forces' data systems such as LIFT and PRIO (SAP).
- General experience in warehouse/storage work.
- Experience from service roles.
- Experience in goods handling.
- Meet the Armed Forces' basic requirements for physical ability.

The employment is a permanent full-time position and begins with a six-month probationary period.
Travel in the service occurs for both work and training.
The workplace is Kristinehamn, but we also have operations in Villingsberg, so part of the work and training will initially take place in Villingsberg and possibly in other locations.
