JOB DESCRIPTION

The tasks mainly involve collecting, compiling, evaluating, and analyzing information to improve the assessment of inmates from a risk and security perspective. You will work together with the local security function on assignments formulated locally, regionally, and centrally.

As an intelligence operator, you will work within your own area of responsibility and actively and independently produce intelligence products within that area. You will work to meet the local need for operational intelligence activities while also supporting the central intelligence function.

You will participate in training at another location for a total of 5 weeks at the beginning of spring.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an interest and commitment to information security as well as security and intelligence issues. You have strong analytical skills and take responsibility for your tasks to achieve the desired results. Your decisions are based on accurate assessments, and you always act with the organization's best interests in mind. Since you will have many contacts, both internally and externally, it is essential that you have good collaboration skills and understand the importance of professional relationships in all contexts.

Requirements:

• Completed upper secondary education in the form of a diploma or high school certificate
• Several years of relevant work experience
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good computer skills and IT knowledge
• Driving license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• Well-documented service within an intelligence function
• Experience from Kriminalvården's operations or from another part of the justice system
• Relevant higher education, preferably in political science, behavioral science, law, or pedagogy
• Training in intelligence operations
• Experience of internal and external collaboration as well as good knowledge of the tasks of collaborating authorities
• Experience of working with relational databases
• Additional language skills
