As a security and preparedness coordinator in the culture and leisure administration, you will play a central role in preparing our operations for both everyday challenges and extraordinary events.

You will work broadly, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and have the opportunity to actively contribute to making the administration safer, more secure, and future-focused.

Your new job

In the role of coordinator for security and preparedness issues, you will work both strategically and operationally to develop and drive the internal security work of the culture and leisure administration. You will also be responsible for the long-term systematic fire protection work. Since the administration is tasked with establishing, operating, and staffing the municipality's safety points during crises or other extraordinary events, this is a central part of the position.

Your tasks include coordinating and developing security and preparedness work, including risk analyses, planning, exercises, and training within cultural and leisure activities. You will act as an advisor to management, department heads, and employees in implementing preparedness work. The role also involves being a contact person for external actors and representing the administration in municipal networks. You will be responsible for following up and evaluating preparedness efforts as well as coordinating the relevant networks of civil society. Additionally, it includes training and exercising staff for operations and activation during crisis situations.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks and drives the work forward with an independent approach. You easily adapt to new conditions and see opportunities in changes. In pressured situations, you remain calm and focus on the right things. You collaborate well with others and communicate clearly and engagingly in both small and large contexts. You have the ability to coordinate groups and become a contact person for others. With a holistic view, you prioritize the best interests of the entire operation and plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.

You have education in crisis preparedness or security, or other education/experience deemed relevant by the employer. Your professional experience in security, crisis, or preparedness work has given you a high level of security awareness and a good understanding of risks and vulnerabilities that may arise during a crisis. You are accustomed to expressing yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish, are familiar with using digital tools, and hold a B driver's license. You have experience collaborating with civil society and a good understanding of the role of civil society in the community.

Experience in project management, planning, and conducting training and analyses, as well as work within critical societal functions and politically governed organizations, is also meritorious. It is also advantageous if you have a local connection to civil society.

Good to know

Working hours include day/evening shifts and some weekend work may occur. Interviews will be held after the Christmas and New Year holidays starting in week 3.

To work with children and young people, we must have an approved extract from the police's criminal record. Order it directly (by post or Bank-ID) when you submit your application, as the normal processing time with the police is about two weeks.
