We are looking for a man or woman, 25 years or older, who wants to work as a personal assistant and has the opportunity to work extra every other weekend, mainly during the day for our client in Mariestad. The hours may vary. There is also the possibility to work extra in the evenings during the week.

Experience in personal assistance is a requirement, but we also place great importance on personal suitability and chemistry. It is desirable that you have worked with clients with extensive care needs. It is an advantage if you have experience with PEG and are a trained nursing assistant.

As a person, we see that you are calm, humble, and secure in yourself. It is very important that you can take your own initiatives and prefer to see solutions rather than problems.

The client is a cheerful and lovely 23-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, developmental disability, epilepsy, and respiratory issues. As an assistant to this client, you will help with all personal care, feeding (tube feeding), transfers, and activities such as training according to the training schedule at home. The client does not speak but is good at communicating through body language and pictures, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good ability to read a person.
