On behalf of our client, we are looking for a field mechanic for one of the region's leading facilities in construction and agricultural machinery, located in Uppsala.

About the position

We are looking for someone who is passionate about construction or agricultural machinery and wants to work in a role where no day is the same. As a field mechanic, you will work both independently and in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues. You will be responsible for performing service, troubleshooting, and repairs on-site at the customer's location. A job where your technical skills, attention to detail, and service mindset will be fully utilized.

Your main tasks

• Professionally, service-oriented, and respectfully engage with customers and colleagues.
• Perform troubleshooting in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Carry out repairs and service on machinery.

Your background and profile

We are looking for someone with a vehicle engineering education and/or experience working with construction or agricultural machinery. You have a genuine technical interest and are used to working practically with problem-solving.

You have a good understanding of vehicle electronics and hydraulics. Computer skills are an advantage.

Since much of the work involves traveling in a service van, a B driver's license is required.

You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have a good understanding of English.
