Primary Care in Jokkmokk Municipality

The primary care in Jokkmokk Municipality is a workplace where proximity is in focus. Our teams work together on various levels to provide the best possible care to the residents. We are now looking for a dedicated and responsible licensed nurse for night shifts.

We are in an exciting phase of transitioning to Close Care, which is being implemented across the country in collaboration between municipalities and regions. This permanent position will be part of a pilot initiative that will offer double night shift compensation between 10 PM and 6 AM during a trial period (Read more about this further down in the ad).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you will be offered a meaningful and varied job where you work in care and nursing homes, regular housing, and the area of Support for Disabilities. In this role, you will work independently and be a key person for our users and patients at night, as well as support for the nursing staff. On-call doctors are available via phone contact.

It is important for us to find new ways to improve our operations together, both for employees and users. Therefore, change work is an important part. Through this, we can together develop municipal primary care and strengthen good care for our elderly.

In this position, you will work with:

  • Being responsible for the overall nursing operations in the municipality's primary care at night
  • Making your own assessments regarding patients' health and well-being
  • Providing care and support/guidance in the municipality's care and nursing homes, the area of disability support, and within home care.
  • Participating in teamwork to ensure good and safe care
  • Documentation of care interventions
  • Actively participating in development and quality work
  • Some on-call duty may occur by agreement

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Nurse/Specialist Nurse
  • Driving license B (mandatory requirement)
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Ability to make independent assessments and decisions in emergency situations
  • Empathetic ability and interest in the patient's needs
  • Interest in change and development work
  • Experience in primary care or elderly care is an advantage

STAY-ON INSURANCE

As a newly hired, permanently employed person in Jokkmokk Municipality, we can offer you a Stay-On Insurance for this position if you meet the following criteria:

  • You must not have previously held a permanent position with the same role.
  • You are registered as a resident, or you register as a resident in connection with the employment.
  • You must not have received the municipality's scholarship for post-secondary studies.

The salary range for this position is between 37,000 - 40,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
