The Role of Nurse

We are now expanding our team in Värnamo and are looking for someone who wants to work as a nurse in our organization. With us, you will work in a team-based manner providing specialized palliative care to patients and their relatives. Collaboration with the municipal home healthcare, inpatient care, and primary care are important parts of our work. In addition, handling, advising, and educating are significant aspects of our mission. We highly value that every meeting with patients, relatives, and our partners is as good as possible based on the resources and needs at hand. We place great importance on competence and teamwork.

The position is permanent and full-time, currently during daytime from Monday to Friday. Start date by agreement. Your workplace is at Värnamo Hospital.

Your Future Workplace

Specialized Home Healthcare (SSIH) is tasked with providing good specialized palliative care to patients and their relatives. SSIH is part of the Medical Care area in Region Jönköping County and is a county-wide unit based at our hospitals in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. We work person-centered in teams with nurses, doctors, and social workers.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in the profession. You have a strong interest in developing palliative care in Region Jönköping County. If you have a specialist nurse education in palliative care, we value that highly, but it is not a requirement; opportunities for further education are available within the organization. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
