We are looking for an occupational nurse for our unit in Västervik

With us at Occupational Health and Safety, Region Kalmar County's own occupational health service, you will play an important role in ensuring that our employees feel good, can perform, and develop over time.

As an occupational nurse with us, you will be an important part of a team that works health-promoting, preventive, and rehabilitative at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You review health declarations for new employees and initiate appropriate measures, manage and follow up on needle injuries, and ensure that our employees have adequate vaccination coverage. You conduct statutory medical examinations and health checks, provide support in rehabilitation cases, and contribute to assessments of work ability. You hold mapping and health conversations, provide advice on work-related health, and work consultatively with managers and HR, often in close collaboration with other competencies in the team. The role also includes contributing to the development of the operations and our working methods.

You will have a varied everyday life with meetings with people, administrative tasks, and development work. The job also involves travel to our clients and to the reception in Oskarshamn, which provides variety and close contact with the region's various operations.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse. Working as a nurse with us is not a traditional nursing job. Here you get to use your medical competence and holistic view in a new way, more preventively and advisory with a focus on the entire working life, but also in individual patient meetings.

Perhaps you have previously worked in roles where collaboration, structure, and responsibility have been important parts. You thrive in a role where you can combine medical knowledge with strategic thinking and practical support for operations. You have good experience in administrative work and enjoy creating order, following up, and contributing to development. It is advantageous if you have training as an occupational nurse or experience from occupational health services.
