Your role with us

The clinic has a well-developed nursing reception where you, as a nurse, work independently with your own patient consultations and adjust medications according to local regulations. As a nurse, you are also responsible for the day care activities, which include care pre and post kidney biopsy, chemotherapy for patients with vascular diseases, rejection treatment, iron infusions, and more.

Your work also includes administrative tasks and advice via TeleQ/1177. Working at the clinic involves close collaboration with doctors, other nurses, dietitians, social workers, and others, and as a nurse, you have a central and coordinating role.

About the workplace

The Nephrology Clinic is an outpatient clinic specialized in investigating and treating kidney diseases and preventing or reducing the risk of complications due to kidney disease. We work preventively to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease and thus reduce the incidence of kidney failure requiring dialysis treatment or kidney transplantation, as well as reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. In cases of progression to dialysis or transplantation-requiring kidney failure, we prepare patients for their chosen form of dialysis and conduct transplant and donor investigations.

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse with several years of experience. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and preferably an interest in modern digital solutions in healthcare. Experience in kidney care, outpatient work, training in nephrology and dialysis treatment, conversation methodology, and/or motivational interviewing is advantageous.

You have the ability to take initiative and can work independently. We also see that you have good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. Since you will be closely collaborating with other professionals, good teamwork skills are an important asset. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Introduction with shadowing will be planned based on your needs and includes internal training in nephrology/preventive nephrology.
